RUN 1281 – Waldschwimmbad, Kronberg

Run site was home of the Celts, nowadays is used by MTV.
Run will explore both peoples, at least their legacies. More running-less gimmicks.

Directions / How to get there?
1. Coming from Königsteiner Kreisel: Leave the roundabout in direction Kronberg/Oberursel (B455). Pass the Opel Zoo and the traffic light (left Falkenstein, right Kronberg) and go on straight forward. Take the next exit and follow the white signs indicating something like “Schwimmbad” or “Bürgelstollen”. The start is an unsealed parking site next to the swimming pool car park at the edge of the forest on the way to “Bürgelstollen”.

2. Using the A661 from South to the end at the junction to Oberursel, keep on the B455 to Königstein. Take the next exit and follow the white signs indicating something like “Schwimmbad” or “Bürgelstollen”. The start is an unsealed parking site next to the swimming pool car park at the edge of the forest on the way to “Bürgelstollen”.

Public Transport:
Take the S4 to Kronberg. Then walk (1,8km), take a bus (see below) or call the Hare-Shuttle (to be informed in advance).
